Collection: Barns of Hunters Creek Road

Barns of Hunters Creek Road is an exhibition within the MI Eye on the Thumb Collection.  

Barns of Hunters Creek Road is a walk, not a survey. Along this corridor of Lapeer County, the structures stand close to the fence and close to one another — reds still holding color, greys gone quiet, quilted faces, cow barns, and the hidden ones that wait beyond the trees. The same weather has passed over all of them. The hanging keeps that weather in view: one road, one light, and the endurance of what was built beside it.
