The Barn Boutique is a vision of Landscape Photographer, Sheryl L Sutter, creator and curator of The MI Eye on the Thumb Collection and hosts over 1,400 barns from the thumb area of the State of Michigan, as well as many other sights from this picturesque area.   

By Dawn’s Early Light© was taken just as the sun was starting to rise and the fog was still laying on the land, giving an ethereal feel to vision before me.  The silo and barn were shadowed by the dense early morning fog creating a silhouetted image as the sun pushed her way up in through the darkness of the night.  The farmhouse across the road still sits quietly dark, still in slumber, as the world begins to wake.  For this moment in time, it felt as if there was true magic in the world, and I was lucky enough to have captured it.
